Social Responsibility

Social responsibility is an ethical or ideological theory that an entity whether it is a government, corporation, organization or individual has a responsibility to society at large. This responsibility can be "negative", meaning there is exemption from blame or liability, or it can be "positive," meaning there is a responsibility to act beneficently (proactive stance). It’s a voluntarily assumed obligation toward the good of a larger social unit as opposed to the self alone. It’s also can be defined as accepting responsibility for others and taking action against social injustice. It includes meeting the needs of others through charitable giving.

As a Sabah citizen, we should take action to be more responsible to care about the island because it will be affect to the tourists were traveled to Sabah or interested travel to Sabah. If we didn't take action to care about the island at all, this will be caring on the bad image about island and Sabah to the tourists. Tourists may Ignore it won’t be travel to Sabah again and tell to their family or friends about what happened in Sabah when traveling. Of course, this will be serious because it’s affect to the economics of Sabah. That’s why as a Sabah citizen we should be more responsible to create a great image to the tourists for improve the economics and the reputation of Sabah.

For the future of Sabah, everyone of Sabah must be more responsible to care about the island and Sabah. This will lead Sabah to be improved and create the way to be successful state in tourism and other industry.
